Cookie policy

Dossier uses a small number of cookies and similar storage technologies. We use them to run the service, keep alpha access working, remember report unlocks, and understand aggregate site usage.

Strictly necessary cookies

dossier_alpha remembers that a private-alpha visitor has entered the site password. dossier_unlock_* remembers that a paid report has been unlocked in this browser. dossier_signed_in keeps the My reports portal signed in after a magic-link login.

Payments

Stripe may set cookies or similar technologies when you use hosted checkout. Stripe is responsible for its own payment security and fraud-prevention processing.

Analytics

We use Umami analytics. Umami's tracking code is designed to run without cookies, fingerprinting or personal-data collection. We use it to understand aggregate page views and funnels, not to identify individual visitors.

Consent

We do not currently use advertising pixels or non-essential cookie-based tracking on the site. If that changes, we will add a consent control before setting those technologies.
